The Chris Augustine Employee of the Year Award
In 2007, Chris Augustine founded ACI with a single contract to develop and field a camera system, which was used to help coalition forces defeat improvised explosive devices. From that single contract, ACI quickly grew into the company it is today, an industry leader in defense contracting. To honor Chris after his passing in 2022, Kristin Augustine along with the ACI executive team, announced this week that the ACI Employee of the Year award will be dedicated to honor the memory of our Founder, Cary “Chris” Augustine.
Chris’s unwavering dedication, exceptional performance, and selfless commitment to the United States Army and Augustine Consulting, Inc. left an indelible mark on all that knew him and is the lifeblood of ACI. Throughout his career, Chris exemplified the highest standards of excellence. His innovative thinking, tireless work ethic, and leadership inspired his fellow Soldiers, Rangers, and colleagues and was the driving force behind ACI’s early successes. Chris’ passion for service to our Nation and high standards continue to inspire each of us.
Although Chris is no longer with us, his legacy of excellence and dedication lives on. The Chris Augustine Employee of the Year Award is a testament to the extraordinary person he was and the lasting influence he had on all who had the privilege of working with and for him.
In honoring the annual awardee, we celebrate Chris’ memory and the incredible impact he had on countless Soldiers, Rangers, employees of ACI and our Nation. His spirit, dedication, and exceptional achievements will forever be remembered and cherished.
